Programs

Programs at ASHRAE meetings fall into five types.

• Technical session
• Poster session
• Symposium
• Seminar
• Forum

Material presented during technical sessions, poster sessions and symposiums is peer-reviewed by at least three people, Such papers are usually published formally by the society and can be purchased through the publications sales department. Some are also available through the ASHRAE electronic bookstore.

Material presented during seminars is not peer-reviewed, nor is it published by the society. But our technical committee has the option of approving seminar presentations for posting on this website, and you can find these under the appropriate tab at the top of this page.

Forums are informal discussions to help develop ASHRAE activities, and no material is published or reported from those sessions.
